Cape Canaveral with Adriana Louth

Wake up at 5 a.m, catch the perfect light... that's just part of my main mission for the shoot, but a very important one. I race from Oviedo Florida to Cape Canaveral to meet the model and her mom at the beach. I had never been there before and my initial thoughts of the parking area, were of how I hated how the place looks. The model and her mom show up and we meet for the first time.

When she got out of the car, I could only think of how gorgeous she was. We greet, and they then proceed to guide me to the real shooting area/ entrance to the beach which was hidden behind a building that surprising hid the whole ocean it seemed... all the while the light is coming up. Her name is Adriana and her mom was cool as hell too. The shooting atmosphere was light hearted and spirits were high as we captured gold in the beautiful natural outdoor studio.

I love natural light and this shoot turned out amazing as we took our time and put on a show for the passing people. It was my first swimsuit shoot and I felt very natural out there as she was a pro in her looks and movements. We were shooting for BMG Orlando for her modeling portfolio and the shoot turned out well.

During the shoot, I was able to switch from my 50mm 1.4 to my 70-200mm 2.8 and then to my 24-70mm 2.8 to capture the atmosphere, details and portraits. On this day I gained a great appreciation for swimwear photography and I look forward to shooting more and more as time goes on.
