General Q&A

Q: WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

A: Currently based in Columbia, South Carolina, able to travel worldwide.

Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?

A: I began wedding photography in 2015 while living in Prague, Czech Republic.  My genres of photography also belong to fashion, sports and event photography; enabling me to be quick on my feet and reaction as well as being able to capture the environment and scenery.

Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ON YOUR TEAM?

A: At the moment, its just me having all the fun.

Q: CAN WE MEET BEFORE BOOKING?
A: If you are in the Columbia, South Carolina area, we definitely can meet, but if not, I am happy to have a video chat via Skype, do to not being able to get to all destinations right away.

Style and Process Q&A

Q: WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

A:  A mixture of photojournalism, contemporary and fine art, using natural light and the occasional off-camera flashes. I was a summer camp counselor and photographer for many years, so I am very personable, and I enjoy it when the adults let loose and just have fun. I love what I do, and I make sure that the people around me are enjoying themselves and my presence.

Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE ON THE DAY?

A: I don't limit the amount of photos taken during the day, as every moment is important. I keep shooting until things have noticeably slowed down.

Q: DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE TAKEN?

A: No. Because of duplicates of similar expressions, a blink or blurred image that is not artistic or even flash missed fires and under or over exposed images. I will go through every image taken and filter out all that are not pleasing to the eye.

Q: DO YOU TAKE FORMAL AND GROUP PHOTOS?

A: I do, mainly for the families and to make sure everyone is documented at the location. The majority of the time will be spontaneous and or partially idea driven.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAIN OR I HAVE TO CANCEL?

A: Unless you cancel the day, I will be there and still ready shoot. Or we will have to reschedule for a later date.

If you (the client) have to cancel for personal reasons or an emergency, the 50% retainer can not be returned as that date will have been held to block and deter others from booking that date. Wedding events and shoots can be rescheduled for a later date that can fit into the schedule.

If I (the Photographer) have to cancel within a timely fashion, your full retainer will be returned.

Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH HALF/ PARTIAL DAY COVERAGE?

A: I have a variety of packages for time worked. I am able to do partial day coverage as well as engagement sessions and or bridal shoots on weekdays at the location of your choice, because depending on the area, many times are the destinations are less crowded during the weekdays.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE WE CAN RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?

A: The full day wedding delivery will usually take 4 to 6 weeks at most depending on the volume of work I have during the time period. As soon as the wedding event is finished, I will present a preview soon after to post for you and your friends and family to view on social media about your day. As well as I will keep you updated on the delivery time frame.

Destination Wedding Q&A

Q: WHAT'S DOES DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY MEAN TO YOU?

A: Over the span of a long weekend or week, let's capture it all; the feelings of you and the location together. It's important to me to be able to bond with the group, because they will then forget (I won't) that I am there to photograph each moment and each day of the adventure. Allowing me to to capture everyone as relaxed as possible, while becoming one with the group. When the big day comes, I am just a fly on the wall, with alert eyes and ears, just capturing the day as it happens.

Q: HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO STAY AT THE DESTINATION?

A: I like to arrive at least one to two days before the first day of shooting begins in order to get rested and acclimated to whatever time changes and or weather changes. I want to be fully energized for the few days ahead of me. I can depart on the morning after the wedding, or depending on if you would want me to capture more of you around the location.

Bookings and Reservation Q&A

Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR DATE?

A:  After receiving the signed contract and the non-refundable retainer, I will block that date on the calendar from being further booked. and the 50% retainer can be paid via Paypal

Q: WHEN SHOULD THE FULL AMOUNT BE PAID?

A: The remaining balance will be due 2-3 weeks before your event. Giving me enough time to make sure I have everything ready to go for your Big Day. E.g transportation, hotel bookings, etc, which will then be shown to you as a security blanket.
